Conduct an investigation to support a scientific claim with statistical evidence.
Construct an explanation based on personal and scientific findings.
Analyze data to determine cause and effect relationships.
- Her3-2: Describe how reproduction results in offspring with genetic variation.
- En3-2: Objects interacting at a distance changes the amount of potential energy stored in the system
- ESS1-1:Earth-sun-moon system to describe cyclic patterns
Conduct an investigation to support a scientific claim with statistical evidence.
- MS2-5: Fields exist between objects exerting forces on each other even though the objects are not in contact
- En3-4: Determine Relationships among energy transfer: the type of matter, mass, and change in kinetic energy
- MO1-5: How genetic and environmental factors influence the growth of organisms
Construct an explanation based on personal and scientific findings.
- MS2-4: Gravitational interactions are attractive and depend on the masses of the interacting objects
- MO1-6: Role of photosynthesis in the cycling of matter and the flow of energy into and out of organisms
- Her3-1: Structural changes to genes affect proteins and may result in a mutation affecting the organism.
Analyze data to determine cause and effect relationships.
- ESS1-3:Determine scale properties of objects in the solar system
- Eco2-1: Effects of resource availability on organisms and populations or organisms in an ecosystem
- ESS3-3: Determine factors that have increased global temperatures
